What was your reason for becoming a licensed aesthetician?I wanted to find a career I was passionate about and would be happy to wake up and do it every day. After working in an artisan soap boutique for a while I became fascinated with skincare ingredients and how they help improve different skin concerns and I knew I wanted to make a career out of helping others improve their skin and confidence.

When you’re not helping your clients boost their glow, what are you doing?I am spending time with my 6-year-old daughter who is a mini aesthetician in the making lol. We do all things girly and pampering, nails, at-home facials, etc. She loves to do arts and crafts too.

about me
Hi, my name is Tiesha. I am originally from Wilmington, NC. My love of skincare started at a young age. I always thought it was very important to moisturize and protect your skin. It wasn't until I began working for a small artisan soap company that I became fascinated with the skincare world and I wanted to find a way to make a career out of it. I loved learning about product ingredients and how they helped different skin concerns. I attended the Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Charlotte and thus a young aesthetician was born. From learning about my own skin type, what products I could use and not use to seeing how I was able to impact my client’s life through my knowledge and treatments, becoming an aesthetician has been a fulfilling career.
