How It Looks/Smells/Feels
Even Tone Cleansing Bar*: This brown-colored cleansing bar creates a lightweight lather with a soft tea tree and licorice scent.

How To Use
MORNING 
Step 1 - Cleanse
Moisten enclosed sponge with warm water and apply to the Even Tone Cleansing Bar to create a creamy lather. Gently massage onto face using small circular motions, allowing the lather to remain on the face for one to two minutes. Avoid directly cleansing the eye area. Gently rinse off and pat skin dry.
Step 2 - Treat
Apply 4-6 drops of Even Tone Super Glow Serum to the face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
Step 3 - Protect + Moisturize
Apply Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30 liberally and evenly to face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure.
NIGHT 
Step 1 - Cleanse
Moisten enclosed sponge with warm water and apply to the Even Tone Cleansing Bar to create a creamy lather. Gently massage onto face using small circular motions, allowing the lather to remain on the face for one to two minutes. Avoid directly cleansing the eye area. Gently rinse off and pat skin dry.
Step 2 - Treat
Apply Retinol Rapid Repair & Dark Spot Treatment to the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Use every other night for the first 2-4 weeks. Can increase to every night if irritation doesn’t occur.
Step 3 - Protect + Moisturize
Apply a moisturizer for hydration.

When using this product keep out of eyes. Rinse with warm water to remove.

Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.

FAQs
If I have dark spots and acne, should I use the Clear Skin Cleansing Bar or the Even Tone Cleansing Bar?
If you have dark spots, acne and oily skin, we recommend that you use the Clear Skin Cleansing Bar. If you don’t have acne or oily skin, but have discolorations or want a brighter, more even-toned complexion, use the Even Tone Cleansing Bar. It is important to remember that all three of our cleansing bars help improve the look of uneven skin tone, so choose your bar based on your skin type.
Is there Sodium Hydroxide in your cleanser bars?
Sodium Hydroxide is commonly used in the soap making process to turn fats and oils into soap - a process called saponification. However, the amount of sodium hydroxide used in the soap manufacturing process is not the amount you end up with in the finished product. By the end of the soap making process, most of the sodium hydroxide has dissociated (broken up) and is no longer present in the final product. As a result, while we use Sodium Hydroxide as a raw ingredient in our manufacturing process, there is only a residual amount of Sodium Hydroxide present in our finished cleansing bars.
Do I need a Vitamin C serum in my regimen?
Yes, Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that everyone should have in their skincare regimen! It brightens the appearance of skin tone and improves the appearance of dark marks, fine lines and sun damage.
Is the Retinol Rapid Repair & Dark Spot Treatment only to be used at night?
We recommend this product only be used at night since it contains Retinol and other ingredients that make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Please make sure to wear our Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30 during the day.
Should I wear sunscreen or SPF daily?
Yes! SPF or sunscreen should be applied every morning as the final step in your skincare routine and before sun exposure. No matter your skin tone, everyone’s skin needs to be protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays even when it’s cloudy. Not to mention, a daily SPF can also protect your skin from the visible signs of aging and hyperpigmentation.
It’s also important to note that if you’re using corrective skincare products that contain AHAs or Retinol, your skin could be more sensitive to sun exposure. As a result, you should make sure you’re applying an SPF when using such products.
Why did you reformulate Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30 to include a mineral sunscreen active ingredient?
Mineral sunscreens offer superior protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays that can cause hyperpigmentation, however, they usually leave a white cast on skin. Chemical sunscreens blend more easily into the skin but do not provide the level of protection offered by mineral actives. We upgraded the Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30 formula to include a combination of mineral and chemical active sunscreen ingredients to offer the best of both worlds – superior protection that goes on sheer. The previous formula contained only chemical active sunscreen ingredients.
How does the new Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30 formula differ from the old formula?
The new formula with both chemical and mineral active ingredients now features 11.6% Zinc Oxide and 5% Octisalate to offer broad spectrum sun protection. Niacinamide and Vitamin C have also been added while glow-getting favorite ingredients Vitamin E, Squalane and Hyaluronic Acid are still part of the formula. There’s also a new refreshing cucumber scent.
Is Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30 a sunblock or moisturizer or is it both?
This dual-purpose formula is a moisturizer and a broad spectrum SPF in one! Suitable for all skin types.
How long before I notice a difference in my skin?
Everyone’s skin is different, so results can vary. It is typical to see results anywhere between 6-8 weeks; however, some people experience results faster.
