Combination Skin Cleansing Bar: If you have dry, aging or combination skin and want to improve the look of texture, dark marks, fine lines and wrinkles, this is your bar in a jar!

How It Looks/Smells/Feels
Clear Skin Cleansing Bar*: This transparent yellow-colored cleansing bar lathers beautifully on the skin, and has the relaxing scent of eucalyptus.
Combination Skin Cleansing Bar*: This solid brown-colored cleansing bar provides a creamy lather and has a light fennel scent.
Even Tone Cleansing Bar*: This brown-colored cleansing bar creates a lightweight lather with a soft tea tree and licorice scent.
*Please note that any color changes in the bottom of the cleansing bar that may appear are normal due to exposure to light, water and air.
How To Use
For the Clear Skin Cleansing Bar, Combination Skin Cleansing Bar and Even Tone Cleansing Bar, choose one cleansing bar to be used in the morning and one in the evening. You can alternate use of cleansing bars depending on your specific skin needs.
To use any of our cleansing bars, moisten the enclosed sponge with warm water and apply to the bar to create a creamy lather. Gently massage lather onto face with sponge and rinse off. Use 1-2 times per day or every other day for sensitive skin. To use as a treatment mask, use 1-2 times a week and allow lather to sit on skin for up to 3 minutes before rinsing off. Use with a daily SPF 30 and moisturizer. Eye sensitivity can occur; avoid directly cleansing the eye area.
Rinse sponge and wring out excess water. Do not put back inside the jar. Allow the sponge to fully dry on top of the lid of the jar or a clean surface.

FAQs
If I have dark marks and acne, which bar should I use?
If you have dark marks, suffer from acne and have oily skin, use the Clear Skin Cleansing Bar to reduce the visibility of these blemishes. If you don’t suffer from oily skin or aren't trying to reduce the appearance of acne but have discolorations or want a brighter, more even-toned complexion, use the Even Tone Cleansing Bar. It is important to remember that all three of our cleansing bars help with the look of acne and discoloration, so the bar should be chosen based on skin type. For example, someone with dry skin/aging concerns and acne/discoloration would pick the Combination Skin Cleansing Bar.
Is it normal for my skin to feel irritated, red or peel after using any of these cleansing bars?
No. If you are experiencing irritation, redness or peeling, it could be caused by a few other things: you may be scrubbing too hard with the sponge, your skin is too sensitive for one of these cleansers, you are using this product with too many exfoliating products and/or you are not giving your skin enough hydration. If irritation occurs, we recommend that you try using these bars without the exfoliating sponge or try one of our gentler cleansing options: the Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser or the LacticGlow Micropolish Resurface & Brighten Cleanser.
Can the cleansing bars be used on the body?
We recommend using the Clear and Even Tone Body Cleansing Bar for a full-body treatment.
Can I use these bars with another cleanser?
Yes. These bars can be used along with our other cleansers.
How can I keep my cleansing bar sponges clean?
These reusable sponges can be washed with laundry in a washing machine. We recommend washing them along with towels and letting them air dry. It is also important to let the sponge air dry after each use and not leave it inside the cleansing jar. If you need replacements, we sell additional sponges here on our website.
Is there Sodium Hydroxide in our cleansing bars?
Sodium Hydroxide is commonly used in the soap-making process to turn fats and oils into soap - a process called saponification. However, the amount of sodium hydroxide used in the soap manufacturing process is not the amount you end up with in the finished product. By the end of the soap-making process, most of the sodium hydroxide has completely dissociated (broken up) and is no longer present in the final product. As a result, while we use Sodium Hydroxide as a raw ingredient in our manufacturing process, there is only a residual amount of Sodium Hydroxide present in our finished cleansing bars.
