How To Use

Even Tone Cleansing Bar: Moisten enclosed sponge with warm water and rub across cleansing bar to create a creamy lather. Gently massage onto face using small circular motions, allowing the lather to remain on the face for 1-2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and gently pat skin dry. Rinse sponge and wring out excess water. Do not put back inside the jar. Allow the sponge to fully dry on top of the lid or on a clean surface. Eye sensitivity can occur; avoid directly cleansing the eye area.

Can be used to cleanse the skin both morning and night. Can also be used as a mask and left on for up to 3 minutes before rinsing off.

Brightening & pH Balancing Witch Hazel Toner: After cleansing, apply toner to a cotton pad and wipe over face and neck area. Do not rinse. Follow with recommended Urban Skin Rx® treatment serums and daytime or evening moisturizers. Can be used twice a day.

Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30: Apply to all areas of the skin exposed to the sun. Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Can be applied after the application of toning or treatment pads, serums or gels. Reapply after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours.

Even Tone AHA Body Wash: Apply a generous amount onto hands, loofah or washcloth. Massage onto skin to create a creamy lather. You can allow the lather to remain on the skin for up to 3 minutes for maximum results. Rinse with water and pat skin dry. Do not use on damaged or sensitive skin. For external use only.

Fade Fix Bump & Dark Spot 10% AHA Exfoliating Solution: Thoroughly cleanse the skin and pat dry. Spray the entire affected area with a thin layer and let air dry on skin. For the first 2 weeks, use every other day and then increase use to once daily in the morning or evening. Can be used after showering or as a stand-alone application. If I have dark marks and acne, do I use the Clear Skin Cleansing Bar or the Even Tone Cleansing Bar?
If you have dark marks, suffer from acne and have oily skin, use the Clear Skin Cleansing Bar. If you don’t suffer from oily skin or acne but have discolorations or want a brighter, more even-toned complexion, use the Even Tone Cleansing Bar. It is important to remember that all three of our cleansing bars help improve the look of uneven skin tone, so choose your bar based on your skin type.

If I have sensitive skin should I use this bar?
For sensitive skin, we recommend that you try our LacticGlow Cleanser. You could also try using this bar without the exfoliating sponge.

Is it normal for my skin to feel irritated, red or peel after using this product?
No. If you are experiencing irritation, redness or peeling, it could be caused by a few other things: you may be scrubbing too hard with the sponge, your skin is too sensitive for this cleanser, you are using this product with too many exfoliating products and/or not giving your skin enough hydration.

Can I use this bar with another cleanser?
Yes. This bar can be used along with our other cleansers.

Can this be used on the body?
We recommend using the Clear and Even Tone Body Cleansing Bar for a full-body treatment.

Is there Sodium Hydroxide in your cleanser bars?
Sodium Hydroxide is commonly used in the soap making process to turn fats and oils into soap - a process called saponification. However, the amount of Sodium Hydroxide used in the soap manufacturing process is not the amount you end up with in the finished product. By the end of the soap making process, most of the sodium hydroxide has dissociated (broken up) and is no longer present in the final product. As a result, while we use Sodium Hydroxide as a raw ingredient in our manufacturing process, there is only a residual amount of Sodium Hydroxide present in our finished cleansing bars.

How can I keep my sponges clean?
These reusable sponges can be washed with laundry in a washing machine. We recommend washing them along with towels and letting them air dry. It is also important to let the sponge air dry after each use and not leave them inside the cleansing jar.

Is Witch Hazel Toner good for sensitive skin?
Yes! We would recommend this product for use on sensitive skin.

How does this toner help balance and restore the skin’s pH level?
This formula has an ideal pH range for the skin of roughly 4.5 - 5.5 and also contains pH balancing ingredients such as Chamomile Extract and antioxidants.

Is Complexion Protection a sunblock or moisturizer or is it both?
This dual-purpose formula is a moisturizer and a broad spectrum SPF in one! Suitable for all skin types.

Should I wear sunscreen or SPF daily?
Yes! SPF or sunscreen should be applied every morning as the final step in your skincare routine and before sun exposure. No matter your skin tone, everyone’s skin needs to be protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays even when it’s cloudy. Not to mention, a daily SPF can also protect your skin from the visible signs of aging and hyperpigmentation.

It’s also important to note that if you’re using corrective skincare products that contain AHAs or Retinol, your skin could be more sensitive to sun exposure. As a result, you should make sure you’re applying an SPF when using such products.

Do I need to use a SPF in the winter or if it’s cloudy out?
Yes! A sunscreen should be applied every morning as the final step in any skincare regimen. Ultraviolet light penetrates clouds with ease, so it is important to wear sun protection throughout the year, even on cloudy days.

Can I use the Body Wash and Body Bar together?
Yes, these products can be alternated! For example, you can use the Even Tone Body Wash one day, and the Clear and Even Tone Body Bar the next, depending on your skin’s needs. You can also use them in a double cleanse routine—starting with the Body Wash to remove buildup and sweat, then following with the Body Bar to deeply cleanse and prep the skin for treatments or moisturizers.

Is the Body Wash suitable for all skin types?

Does it contain fragrance?

Can I use Fade Fix after shaving or waxing?
We recommend waiting 12-24 hours to use this product after shaving. We recommend waiting 24-48 hours to use this product after waxing in order to allow time for the skin to heal.

Is Fade Fix artificial fragrance-free?

Can I use Fade Fix with other body products?
