How It Looks/Smells/Feels
Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser: This nearly clear, light yellow gel provides an intense lather and has a subtle licorice scent. Great for sensitive skin.

Witch Hazel Brightening & pH Balancing Toner: This liquid is clear in color and has a subtle Witch Hazel scent.

Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream: This lush but lightweight white cream applies clear, feels silky and has a subtle scent. Great for sensitive skin.

How To Use

MORNING

Step 1 - Cleanse

Apply a dime-size amount of Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser to fingertips and massage gently into moist skin for 30-60 seconds. Can leave lather on skin for up to 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat skin dry. Apply a sunscreen during the daytime when using this product. Eye sensitivity can occur; avoid directly cleansing the eye area.

Step 2 - Treat

After cleansing, apply Witch Hazel Brightening & pH Balancing Toner to a cotton pad and wipe over face and neck area. Do not rinse. Can be used twice a day. Follow with your favorite SPF 30 or higher.

Step 3 - Protect + Moisturize

If skin is extra dry, apply a small amount of Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream to face and neck (see package for complete directions).

NIGHT

Step 1 - Cleanse

What is the difference between Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser and the Even Tone Cleansing Bar?
The main difference is in the product form. Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser is a liquid foaming formula that is great for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Even Tone Cleansing Bar is our much-loved “bar in a jar” which uses an exfoliating sponge for application. Sensitive skin types may find the bar a bit too strong. Both feature our ClearTone Advanced Technology® for the same even tone power.

Can the Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser replace my makeup remover?
Yes, the gentle gel formula is great for makeup removal.

Can I use the Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser with products outside the Even Tone family?
Yes, like all of our product formulations, you can mix and match across families for a customized skincare regimen that meets your unique needs.

Is the Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser good for sensitive skin?
Yes, Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser is formulated for all skin types and is ideal for sensitive skin. If you have very sensitive skin, we recommend doing a patch test: apply the cleanser to a small area of the skin such as the side of the neck, massage in and rinse. Wait 15 minutes to see if the skin reacts. If there is no redness or irritation, continue with use.

Does the Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser help with breakouts?
Because this formula deep cleans pores and exfoliates dead skin cells, Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser can help with breakouts. But if you struggle with breakouts, we recommend trying our Clear Skin Cleansing Bar or LacticGlow Micropolish Resurface & Brighten Cleanser.

Is Witch Hazel Brightening & pH Balacning Toner good for sensitive skin?
Yes! We would recommend this product for use on sensitive skin.

How does Witch Hazel Brightening & pH Balacning Toner help balance and restore the skin’s pH level?
This formula has an ideal pH range for the skin of roughly 4.5 - 5.5 and also contains pH balancing ingredients such as Chamomile Extract and antioxidants.

What are Ceramides?
A part of the skin’s natural barrier, ceramides help prevent the skin from losing moisture and play an important role in protecting skin from environmental stressors and reducing the visible signs of aging.

Is the Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream a fading treatment for dark marks?
As part of the Even Tone family, Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream includes ingredients that target dark marks, but it is not a fading treatment. Formulated to rebuild your barrier, it helps protect your skin so it is not as vulnerable to new discoloration. If you are struggling with dark marks, we recommend including this cream as a part of a full regimen for discoloration that also includes our Retinol Rapid Repair & Dark Spot Treatment (included in this package) or our Advanced Even Tone Day & Night Treatment.

Do I need to use a moisturizer in addition to the Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream?
Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream is highly moisturizing so you shouldn’t have to apply an additional moisturizer. However, this formula doesn't include a sunblock and we recommend that you always apply one during the daytime. We recommend our Complexion Protection Moisturizer SPF 30 for daily protection from the sun.

I have oily skin, can I still use Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream?
Yes, Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Cream is great for all skin types.
